Donating objects and artefacts

If you come from Alsace or are quite simply an admirer of Alsatian culture, you might well possess traditional objects and artefacts from our region, which might be of interest to the Écomusée d’Alsace for its projects, exhibitions and collections.

The museum is especially looking for donations of small early 20th century furniture items, objects of everyday life, traditional costumes and also old photos and films. All these objects and artefacts must be Alsatian in origin and date back to before the 1950s.

If you think you have a suitable object or artefact to donate to the Écomusée d’Alsace, then don’t hesitate to send us details, with as much information as possible about the object, its size, a photo and a brief summary of its history.
