This terrace acts as an outdoor extension to the Halle des Fêtes and Salle des Cigognes and it’s a great place for serving open-air drinks or delicious edibles such as kebabs or giant Munster cheese fry ups, while keeping an eye on the kids playing in a secure enclosed area.
The centre of the terrace features a sculpture by Daniel Depoutot, created from items from the museum collections. What the artist has done is to take sculpted, welded and reassembled tools, farm equipment and heritage artefacts to breathe new life into them and have them play together in the sun and the wind.
